The Last Demonic Days 2

Luke 17:26-27 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

As we return to our text again, we want to see the parallel impact of demonic activity between that in Noah's day and what is happening today. In the days of Noah, there was a perverse obsession with unnatural, inappropriate sexual relationships which ultimately ruined families.

The demonic focus then is the very same focus today, it is on the family. In Noah's day demons sought to infiltrate society by entering into the family through inordinate sexual relationships. We have read this in,

Genesis 6:2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The family unit was under demonic attack, as it is today. The resulting sinful impact of unprecedented wickedness, is today everywhere apparent. In our earlier days, families have been adversely impacted by the seductive influences of television, cinemas, tabloids etc.

Now with the advent of the digital age, demonic possession is set to advance rapidly.

Today, aided by smartphone technology, people are exposed to a plethora of demons. The moment a person opens their mind to seductive imagery, the demon of uncleanness enters in, followed by others. When this happens to the husband or to the wife, the marriage is over, the family is devastated, or worse still is destroyed. Today, people are possessed by unclean spirits to engage in multiple, often unnatural sexual relationships outside of Christian marriage, which contribute to a society governed by unlawful inordinate sexual desire.

Just look at the state of homes and families today, we only have to look around to see the utter ungodliness into which society has fallen.

The Son of God says that what happened in the days of Noah will happen in the time of His return.

But what about the saved of earth, what about the born again believers ???

Romans 5:20 But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

The Word of God declares that,

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Noah was a man just like believers today,

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Noah lived in the day of God's grace, served the LORD by submitting to His Word and by surrendering to His will. Noah was 'a preacher of righteousness' (2 Peter 2:5) He opened not his mind to the unclean spirit of the age, he faithfully pointed people to the ark, the only means of Salvation from the wrath and judgment of God. The ark of course speaks of Christ.

Despite the Last Demonic Days in which he lived, he saw his family saved by God's grace. Now what about God's redeemed people today as we live in the day of God's grace, are we seeking our families for Christ, or are we handing them over to the demonic predators of our day.
