The Last Demonic Days

Luke 17:26-27 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

The study of last things (Eschatology) is more relevant today than ever before. Without doubt society is changing very rapidly, and not for the better.

We are commencing a short series of messages entitled 'The Demonic Last Days'. We are going to trace the warnings of demonic activity that God has placed in His Word. Following the hermeneutical principle, we are commencing our study at the law of first mention: hence, the days of Noah.

The Bible story of Noah, the ark and the flood is well known to many. However, what is less known, is the fact that the 'days of Noah' were characterised by intense Demonic activity. These days could also be described as 'the last days' before the wrath and judgment of God descended. The Last Demonic Days, before the Flood are described in, Genesis 6:5, 8 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.[8] But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

The society in which Noah lived was exceedingly sinful, it was ungodly, and like ours, was fast ripening for judgment. But there was something which was an accelerant that spread the sin and deepened the offence before Almighty God.

Demonic activity had prevaded society to such an extent that it had become prevalent and acceptable in every aspect of life in those antediluvian days.

Genesis 6:1-4 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, [2] that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. [3] And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. [4] There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Noah's generation was overrun with (sons of God, fallen angels) demons. These fallen angels, left their first estate'

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

These angels left Heaven's Holy estate and abandoned their created habitation, and took on fallen sinful human form. These demonic creatures mingled themselves with the daughters of men. They married wives (Luke 17:27) and (Genesis 6:2)The picture here is very clear, in the Last Days before the Flood, and the Last Days before the 2nd coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, demons will infiltrate society, blending in so as to be acceptable.
